The lack of updates doesn't mean that spam has suddenly stopped - it just means that I didn't have the time to blog about it. And what we got wasn't too interesting either:

Our Bulgarian friends have stopped spamming all but one of the sites I'm administrating - and on that remaining site, Bad Behavior keeps them in check.

Some other spammers are still at it, with little to no variation and are therefore easily blocked.

I turned Michael Hampton's Bad Behavior plugin for WordPress into a plugin for Geeklog and installed it here on the site. We'll see what it actually catches ...

Does the world really need Yet Another Spam Blog? Well, probably not. However, I found myself in need for a place to post about spam on websites. I've tried a few other places before, but none were really appropriate.

So what is this site about? It's a place where I collect information about spam I encounter on the various websites I administer. So email spam is not something you'll usually see here (unless there's a connection to spam we also see on websites). read more
