Trackback spam is on the increase again. Just right now, someone is hammering this very site with trackback spam disguised as compliments ("I see you put a lot of work into this one A. I respect it!!") - and trying to hide the real spam behind a visibility:hidden CSS rule.
Actually, while you're at it, you may want to consider blocking the entire IP address range 195.225.176.0 - 195.225.179.255 of NetcatHosting, that Ukrainian hosting service. Over on geeklog.net, someone's hammering the site all day already with requests for pretty much every URL they can find, but they add prev=/search and similar crap to the URL for whatever reason.
