Porn affiliate referrer spam

This must have been going on for a while, but it only caught my eye today: We're getting occasional referrer spam for porn sites where the spamvertized URL always contains id=ballaire. All the domains are registered with RK Netmedia, Inc., Florida. It's unlikely that they're spamming themselves, it's probably only one of their affiliates. Couldn't find an obvious address to report the abuse to. But at least it's easy to block ...

If found this post by Michael Cazad: ballaire - porn ref spammer. He was apparently hit by the same guy and collected some information on the IP addresses used in that spamrun.

403 forbidden from wvmountainhome

Sorry Dirk,

I was having a problem with trackbacks and rss pulls, as well as the rss pulls being used for later site-scraping from the same IP, so I put in the requirement to either have a Useragent or a referrer. You couldn't get in if both were empty. I'm working on a workaround for the trackbacks, but that will have to wait until I can get more time to examine the code better. Sorry you got the 403 page.
